So we never got around to updating our blog about the official digital release of our new album. If you're just now being informed of the albums availability please check it out on iTunes, or our Bandcamp. -Winter Cabin Trip

Recently we found ourselves ready to escape this big city, and pushed ourselves to get a good chunk of time off with our respective work places. We ended up spending a solid four days at the Whiteley family cabin out in Union Pier, Mi. There is not really any time I can compare the effects this trip had when we first drove into the snow covered town, pulled up to the lake front cabin, heard nothing but Lake Michigan, and could see every star in the sky. Union Pier is a big vacation town, and being there in the winter was surreal. The place made us feel like we were the only people in the world, and was a great contrast to our daily living in Chicago. So I'd like to share some pictures, and encourage all big city dwellers to vacation in seclusion.

We are planning for a more lively new year, and we're seeing the shows slowly but surely lining up for January and February. Please join us at the Whistler on January 8th with the Color Card!Also we finally have the new album completely finished and mastered! I will post a new track at our bandcamp along with reloading the old ones with their new mastered version after this post! Best wishes to all over the holidays, and we look forward to posting a lot more in the new year.

WAVINESS AND 11/11/11 SHOW

Official welcome and a one track preview

We need to officially welcome two new members to the group! So welcome AJ Halbrook (pictured to the right at the studio), and Adam Whiteley. No picture of Adam as of yet, but we promise to post one soon. Both equally handsome? We'll let you be judge. Also since our last post we have been to Grand Rapids and back for our third and last mixing session with Matt Ten Clay at Skull Studio/Amber Lit Audio. Now on to the Mastering process, but I'm happy to share a preview track. If you've heard previous recordings of ours you might recognize this one, but I promise it has gone through an extensive change and is worth a new listen.

So here’s the opener. New location, new name, but close to the same venture I’ve been kicking around. Trent and I are close to releasing our first batch of songs some old, and some new. This first self titled Grandeur’s release is well on its way, and it is looking very likely we’ll be able to share something in late October. We are really excited about this project, and the beginning of this new site to share news with all that care to listen.
